    Troubleshooting a 95 honda civic?
95 honda civic... was running just fine until I left it idleing in the driveway for about 5 minutes. When I came back out it was running but idleing rough. When I tried to put it in gear and reverse it died. It would start after that but would not stay running. Left it sitting for hours and then came back and tried it a couple times and it started and drove fine until I got home. After it was turned off it would not start again. Fuel pump, spark plugs, distributor and coil have been replaced. Still had problems. Then the mechanic said the fuel smelled weird so he thought someone put something in my gas tank. He drained the tank and put clean fuel in and it started running tons better. I drove it just fine for 4-5 days with no problems. Today I tried to start it up after work and it was ideling rough again and will rev but when I put it in gear and try to drive it dies. HELP! Any suggetions?

It's likely a distributor related problem. Most new aftermarket distributors for Hondas are unreliable and problematic. My advice is to only install a genuine Honda distributor housing, where it's fine to use an aftermarket ICM and coil to keep the cost down.
