Your enemy is now wanting to join your Fraternity
So I just recently got into a Fraternity. And now my enemy wants to join. I don't want him to be in it but its not ultimately up to my decision, it is up to the Fraternity, the brothers as a whole. Tomorrow I'll be giving a speech about why he shouldn't join. But I need help with that.

Reasons I don't want him to join :
    • My enemy was recently my friend for a good year, but later backstabs me by talking behind my back and my best friend's back.
    • He also tries to "sleep" with my best friend's girlfriend. (Note: This person is joining the same Fraternity but in a different colony.)
    • He is fake and conceited.

We had a week to basically get to know the new people joining. Because of this, some of the brothers already like my enemy because of his fun personality to some people. But some brothers don't like my enemy because he is conceited, showy, etc.

I know not a lot of my brothers will understand my personal experiences with my enemy, but I want them to consider before giving him a bid to the fraternity because of the reasons stated above.

Im a nice guy, and hardly hate anyone. But this person is the only person I can think of that I can hold a grudge against. His actions are unforgivable to me. I never intend to get in anyone's way. And I try my best to make everyone like me. I'm always passive, so I Think before I ACT. In conclusion, I don't want him to become a brother of my Fraternity, I can/will never think of him as a brother.

So yeah, just need advice/suggestion on what to say for my speech tomorrow about him.

Give a speech like Julius Caesar would have to the Roman Senate:

I'm not here to say anything against [Bob]. I'm certainly not going to tell you, even though he and I were good friends for a year, that now he backstabs [my friend Josh] and me. I'm definitely not here today to tell you that [Bob] tries to "sleep" with my best friend's girlfriend and that he is fake and conceited. I'm not going to mention that this young man who pretends to be your good friend will someday become your enemy.

    And so on.

If you do give a speech like ceaser, just watch you back ;)

If it's out of your control then there is nothing you can do about it
So now fix yourself :) try not to let this get you down

My enimie? What are you 4 years old?

    Change your mindset

    Good luck

Enemy is a hard work, a person you don't like perhaps. I would say that you need to look inside yourself as to why you hate this person so much and why you wish to hold on to the hate.

Also consider your choices if he does become a member since he will be a brother and you will be expected to treat him as such

Aren't you a little old to be parading around calling this guy your enemy. You should forget this guy and stop focusing on such minute things. If he's trying to sleep with your friends girl then let him deal with it.

Worry more about school and homework then who joins a fraternity. You might even try chasing a girl or two around. Maybe that will take your mind of this guy.
