Hello,

I am searching for the title of an old movie for my aunt to surprise her as a gift. When she was a child she remembers watching a movie about a little girl who wanted to join the Penguin Club, and that is all she remembers other than the fact that her father made her go to bed before the movie ended. She loved the movie and has never forgotten the little that she remembers, but was too small to remember the rest of the plot or the title. I am guessing she watched the movie about 50 years ago, so it had to have been made sometime before 1960. She says it was an old movie, but I am not sure if she is referring to it being old now, or if it was old then. She doesn't know the actors or anything else. I had thought a Google search of girl joining Penguin Club may bring it up, but I found nothing. I would love to find info on this movie for her and perhaps a copy. Can anyone help?

Possibly The Under-Pup (1939). In the user comments section there's a reference to a penguin club.
