You may need to replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. If you go this route, be sure to apply silicone heat transfer grease to the back of the new ICM.

Sorry couldn't log into my profil so I mad a new one I got it to crank over and stay on I bought a new cap rotor icm and coil and got the correct firing order but my car won't rev to high rpm's I don't have a rpm gauge but it tops out quick! And it still runs a little rough but it stays on I had a code 16 before witch is fuel injecter and it turns out that it was missing the clips on the 2 middle injecters (I just bough this car) but I decide to get a new pcv valve but when I took it off while it was running it sounded better at least I think it did but its throwing a code 5 now and that's a map sensor do you think that the air/fuel mixer gets worse at high rpm's and if so why doesn't it react like that in low rpm's

94 civic hatchback cranks but doesn't start [ 2 Answers ]

The car cranks over really strong, has spark, fuel, and compression although on the 1st cylinder the compression is lower by 50 psi, and the rest are at like 180psi. I was thinking that it might be the timing, but I'm not sure, sometimes it seems like it's going to start then it just goes back to...
