    Because their product is packaged as installed as packaged, and does not provide a method of capping the exposed ends.

    Their product is listed by Underwriters Laboratories as is, and cutting will violate that listing, and then violate the National Electric Code.

    Cut at your own risk.

Anyone know why Hampton Bay track states that you cannot cut the track? Every other brand allows track to be cut to the needed length and Hampton Bay is worthless to me if I can't cut it.
