    How can I prove my daughters father unfit?
    Can my daughters father get custody if his name is not on the because and he has never supported her or had any contact with her. Oh and he also spent time in prison for felonius assault and child endangerment on a kid from a previous relationship

    First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    As long as a biological relationship can be shown, the father stands a chance on getting rights if there is no legal father. But he has to go to court to do so.

    Given his record, it would seem that the most he could get is supervised visitation.

    As he made any attempt to get custody? If not, what are your concerns?

    Guardianship
    We live in ms the father lives in oh. Iam getting ready to go into the armed services and want to sign guardianship over to my mom we have been living with her since I was pregnant. The father has never tried to get custody or had any contact with us. Can he try to get custody when I'm gone and does he have to sign any papers for my mom to get guardianship

    You should be able to delegate to your mother, without any difficulty, your custodial rights. So any rights you have as a parent can be exercised by your mom, until you say otherwise.

    While the father could try anything, I doubt that he would have any success.

    To do this properly you should consult with an attorney in Mississippi for a small fee. That way, the likelihood of significant error is decreased greatly. Alternately, the military may have resources available to you for this purpose.

    The bio father could try,

    First is there any custody order in place ? Is there any child support order in place. If there is no child support order in place and he has never been shown to the be father in court, he does not owe any money, so he is not behind in any payment.

    So is there a reason to expect he would want to do something
