Cheating, howcome. Guys input .
 so.. I was wondering why do guys cheat on a good girl, the best they ever had or will have? Why don't they talk or end it? And how do they feel like they love their girlfriend but still lie and cheat?just wondering, because it seems like a lot of people, myself included have trust issues and ask all the "cheating" type questions.. I want a guys opinion... thanks

I can only speak for myself and there is no way that I could ever cheat on girl.
But, if I must speak for my comrade's in gender, it would appear that viewing women as less than equals plays a major role in their decision making. Also, incredible ego and disgust for commitment are two contributing factors.

There are many reasons and most of the time, it depends on the situation. For example, sometimes its because the guy thinks he can get away with it, other times it could be because something has gone wrong in the relationship and the guy doesn't want to leave but he doesn't want to stay either. Some guys also cheat because they want to eat their cake and have it.
Hope that helps

To be honest my last girlfriend I did not cheat but I have tons of friends that do and it in my opinion for one simple reason. When you are young you allow sometimes your friends to control your thoughts and emotions and do things that maybe aren't the best. But the true underlying reason in my opinion and only speaking from my experiences is that most guys get complacent and get bored because they have already hooked up with the girl before and want something new. Love has to be very very strong for most guys to want to hook up with the same girl and be with the same girl and not want anything else. There are many great guys out there that can resist the urge because they are mature and understanding dishonesty is good for no one but that is why many women you see are out with jerks because I feel the women think they can change him or fool themselves into thinking this guy is the one that will treat me well and won't do anything dishonest when it happens to them all over again.
There is a counter to every point I made but I am just saying that once you have something you know what it is like and it is very hard to keep the excitement in it unless there is more than just a physical attraction involved.

As a 21 year old, I can safely say, even when I was in a relationship that I was totally satisfied in, I still considered the idea of cheating every once in a while. Not seriously, but I toyed around with the idea when I discovered this girl that wanted me hardcore. Men aren't as bad as we seem, in fact we're very predictable. At my age, all we really want to do is have sex with many many hot women for no good reason. Once that's out of our system, we realize there's really not much substance to it, and begin shopping for a serious commitment.
At the younger ages men are particularly prone to cheating, and it isn't a reflection of the women we date. It's just who we are. I could be dating carmen electra and I'd be lying if I said the idea of banging somebody else would never cross my mind. I'd imagine once I get all that out of my system, which I believe I pretty much have, serious committed relationships are what to look for. I think women make the big mistake of expecting too much of the younger men, and make the mistake of thinking that a cheater is a reflection on you. It's not. At this age you should be shopping for somebody you can date/have sex with/hang out with/have conversations with. That's all. You'd be a fool to start trying to build a future with a dude that is emotionally jeuvenile.

There is a clear biological basis for human sexual behavior, and cheating isn't restricted to men. We are, in large part, slaves to our genes, whose only real purpose is replication. Men, because we have very little time/resource investment in the act, seek to spread our genes as far and wide as possible with suitable females. Our resource allocation is sperm (mostly water) and some enjoyable time. Women, on the other hand, are much more invested in the consequences of sexual behavior: 9 months and possible death -- not to mention a life-bond with a child. They seek mates rich in health, which often conflicts with their desire for a father for their child who is rich in resources: that is their reason for cheating. No one vocalizes such things. We soak everything in base language and romantic cliché, but it is about our genes.
Around 15% of us have a different father than we think...
