    My husband put my child out of the house before I divorced him. Can he do this?
    After filing for divorce can a spouse put a child out?

    You need to clarify your question. Is this a minor child? Is this child a product of the marriage. Why why the child with your spouse instead of you?

    Had you already moved out of the house?

    And was the child 7 years old or 27 years old, makes a large difference

    Also ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. In the divorce filing, was anything included about custody?
