    Looking for aunt adopted in 1970s
    Hi need help to find my aunty that was adopted out in the 1970s have put ads in maganiznes on here but have had no luck can someone tell my the best way to find her thank you kaz

    Why are YOU looking? Why not her birthmother?

    You really have no legal ground to stand on. In addition, if she was adopted in the 70s, she may not KNOW she is adopted. You showing up out of the blue to find her could devastate her and destroy her current family connections.

    I always suggest that if you're looking out of curiosity, register on reunion websites and otherwise leave it alone.

    Do you have a more pressing reason than curiosity to be looking?
