Could my daughter have a spirit with her?
I asked a question about me maybe having something around myself, but now I'm curious to know if my daughter has a spirit with her. She is almost 10, I have three children of my own and they are living part time with their father. My father died in 98'. All my kids have ever seen was pictures of him. One day we were at the grocery store and all of a sudden she breaks out in this sad little cry, and tears all down her face and I asked her what the problem was... She responded, "I miss paw paw Lee." She was born in 2001. Neither one of my sons act like that just her. Or am I just reading too much into what's happening with me?

I don't think I am because I don't see them very often and when I do we don't talk about my dead father. But it never hurts to ask. Thanks for your input.

Yes, I'm with JKT, while you may have something going on in your home in regards to your other post... it doesn't seem like something out of the ordinary is happening with your daughter... at least not from the info given anyway.

deepwaterlucky does not find this helpful : well, I don't get to see my daughter very often and I don't talk about my dead father.
You have misused the rating system. Just because it's not the answer you think you deserve or need doesn't mean it's incorrect.
Now I'm confused - your daughter is 10, you don't see her often, you don't talk about your dead father BUT somehow she knows about him? She even has a nickname for him?
Something isn't making sense.

Could she be learning some of this from her father? Children can also realize a situation is sad even without experiencing it... for example "missing" your father.

Also very possible other family members have spoken of him

Well, thank you for your insight too. I appreciate any and all answers to my questions. I have thought about what JKT said and I agree with both of you. I also think I am reading too much into what's happening with me. I just thought maybe since my daughter doesn't live with me she is also sensitive to things around her. I'm glad to know she isn't.

It makes sense if you knew the circumstances in this situation. First off if you can read, I came back and agreed with you. Now to make this clear to you Judy, do not come on here if you do not want to help me. Don't be a hypocrite and bash me trying to make me feel stupid, because that is not going to work. And as far as my ex goes he's never met my father he is dead, and was deceased before we met. My daughter seen a picture of him when she was 2 yrs old that's it. REMEMBER Judy and whoever wants to put me down or make it seem like I don't know what I'm talking about, he died 3 years before she was born and his name is Lee, not a damn nickname! And by the way, your answer does suck and does not help so get off my back. I am going to defend myself to people like you with attitudes about my question or my apparent miss use of YOUR rating system.

I don't think so if you knew her father you would understand. But anything is possible but I seriously doubt she would even think about searching for someone she has never met.

1 - I only know what you've posted. I have no way of "knowing the circumstances in this situation." If the circumstances are important, post them.
2 - Oh, I can read. I can also explain myself... and spell.
3 - Don't even ATTEMPT to dictate how your questions will be answered, who will answer them, in what manner. If you want to dictate to people, pay for the advice.
3 - Watch your language on AMHD. I don't resort to profanity because it's not necessary.
4 - It's not MY rating system. It's the system YOU agreed to when you joined AMHD. I follow the same rules you are supposed to follow.
5 - I believe you are an emotional person (as witnessed in this thread) and your daughter is bouncing off you. I also don't understand why instead of comforting your daughter you are allowing her to "grieve" for a man she's never met.
6 - You are WAY out of line in the way you address FrChuck.
7 - If you question whether you are crazy ( https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/parano...me-590632.html) - which I note is a word only you have used - what are the rest of us to think?

Actually if you want freedom of speech, go in the front yard and talk, if you want to post on a web site owned by another person or company, you are required to follow their rules.

DeepWaterLucky, what you have failed to notice is that I am a Supermoderator of this web site. My church or position in it has nothing to do with this. You spoke out of turn, and started to ramble about freedom of speech to post on this site anything you wanted. There are rules and as such your posts and others, I deleted them because of this
