    Overweight! Halpp!
    I'm 13 and I am 5'6 and I have a BMI of 26.3 ! ( I am massive !) need help for a diet . I don't ever eat out... EVER ! And I don't know any one who eats as many portions of fruit and veg a day - 5 minimun a day. I have had my belly button pierced for some imsperation but I need to stay motivatied ! Please comment xD

    You're entering some important development years and you need to support your body as it grows.

    It's good that you avoid eating out and you try to eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Don't deny yourself the other food groups as well. Make sure you are eating grains, lean meats, fruits and veggies, and minimal oil/sugar.

    Are you a part of any sports or physical activities? Keeping active and joining extracurricular activities has many benefits, including keeping in shape, making friends, and excelling in school.

    Focus on being healthy, that means eating well and staying active, getting plenty of rest and drinking a lot of water. Focusing too much energy solely on weight loss at your age isn't necessary because your body still has a lot of growing to do. If you support that growth with healthy habits NOW you will be much better off entering adulthood.

    Thanks , I do a quite a few activeites , as my mum doesn't drive ( or have a car !) I walk allover - to and from school , to the shops and to my friends houses , and I live quite far from all of the above. I eat pulses like beans and stuff , I eat lean meats - I don't really like meak so I have quorn or eggs. I'm not allowed sweets and I don't like fried things . I do eat a lot of weight watchers things- there crisps there bread - by the way I don't like white bread - only the type with seeds in . I've been to my GP and she said ( this sound so lame ) I have "big bones" lol. I am taller than all of my friends and I'm in some important development years as you said . I have a big party coming up and I would try to lose some weight for then :L I feel better all ready * loud sigh*
