How to remove a stuck soap dispenser in my kitchen sink?
We have a soap dispenser that we have never been able to refill as we could not get the bottle unscrewed. My husband has decided to replace it as it is not user friendly and we absolutely cannot get the bottle under the sink to unscrew - any suggestions?
About the only thing I could think of would be to use a hair dryer to warm the threaded joint under the sink... that may weaken/soften the joint enough to spin out.
If that fails to work then you might be able to take a hacksaw blade (or similar small saw blade) and cut through the soap bottle and threads altogether to be done with this... :)
Somebody help me out here please. All the soap dispensers I have seen use a plastic bottle and are refilled by pulling out the pump mechanism and filling from the top.
Is your bottle something other than plastic.

1. every home should have a good hand held steamer with a long chord.
2. soap liquid or hand soap dries.
3. easy trick just steam it open.

One more tip every one should have a adjustable belt strap to open tight lids & bottles. I even have some big tough ones I use on heavy duty pluming jobs.
Welcome to the pluming website, stick around and some one will learn a lot from you, But don't forget that here are a lot of experts in this website, Thanks.

Hello every one, Milo and Harold are correct if you watch the vedio that Mark (Massplumber) added to posted #4 will show how to fill the bottel, Thanks.

What do you do when you pull out the pump mechanism to fill from the top and the plastic tube does not come out with the pump mechanism.
I have a Moen soap dispenser in my kitchen sink (with the soap reservoir that screws in from underneath and the dispenser/tubing contraption slides in from the top).
I slid the dispenser/tubing contraption out to clean it. I disconnected the dispenser part (the knob with the spout) from the...
Hi,
I am having a little issue and would appreciate your advice.
I own a condo with a double-sink kitchen.
My problem is that soon after we've done the dishes, the sink will gurgle and soap suds will back up into both sinks. It's only suds, no water and no smell.
There are no draining...
We were moving a old cast iron utility tub and needed to replace the drain pipes. When trying to loosen the nut locking the basket to the tub the pipe broke at the top of the locking nut, flush with the bottom of the tub. Now the only thing holding the basket to the tub is 50 or more years of...
