Can the GE 5KCP39JGN653T motor be rewired from 115V to 220V? If so, how?

My General Electric dryer drum glows inside ? I have a problem with it squeaking, when I pulled the door open quickly, I can see the back of the drum glowing, I am guessing this is not normal? Any ideas, ta !
