As a sibling, you don't have very many options to search for a biological brother.

Why are you searching for your brother and not your birthparents, out of curiosity?

That is the sticky at the top of the adoption page that points people in the right direction for searching.

You can try Google searches, or you can hire a private detective, or you can register on reunion websites. Those are really most of your options to search for a sibling.

If you are looking for biological PARENTS, there are other possible options, but legally, you have no relation to a biological brother and no rights to find him other than what any other stranger would have to search.

This may sound stupid but I already have parents I don't really care who my biological parents are they're only my parents by blood, but I'm an only child so I'm kind of curious about who my brother is.. I kind of wonder if he's someone I know already.. my birth certificate says I was born at a hospital very close to where I've lived my whole life

Unless he knows about you and is also searching through reunion websites, or unless you are willing to hire someone to find him, your odds of finding him are low.

Please realize that finding your biological brother will ALSO mean you'll find at least one of your birthparents--who may very much want to connect with you.
