    In NYS is there a time limitation from judgement to garnishment?
    I went to court ten years ago and they placed a judgement against me and now ten years later they are trying to get there money and garnish my wages...

    In a word, no. They "gave" you 10 years. Now they've renewed the Judgment and they are tired of waiting.

    No, they can anytime the judgement is valid, and most judgements are easily renewed for at least one more term, many for more than that.
