I have had shingles since yesterday and I am scheduled for a laporscopic surgery (hysterectamy) in 4 weeks, will the doctor still do the surgery?

Zoster virus usually clears in 2-3 weeks but only your doctor can answer this question. I think he will want to examine you in that 4th week and decide then. Are you taking any antivirals?
