    Stolen Items
I am ashamed to even admit this but I got red handed stealing for someone's house that I was doing work for and it was about 11,000 in mercandise but I am not sure what to do I take full responsibility for what I have done. If we go to court will I be allowed to pay the person back for the items taken, I can recover 99.9 percent of what I have taken should that be the cousre I take before this goes any further. There is no excuse for anyone to ever steal from another ever. I don't have a record not even a ticket I have no idea why I ever did what I did.

You not only will be allowed to pay back the full cost of what you stole you will be ordered to pay it back. You will also receive a fine and a criminal record.

Have you been arrested or is this in the investigative phase?

I would go to the homeowners IMMEDIATELY and either return what you stole OR return what the property was worth. It may or may not keep them from going to the Police.

At this moment it is their decision how to proceed.

I will agree, you go and get and return everything you took, ( as much as possible), and decide on the value of the rest and pay it back,

Since if they go to the police, you go to jail ( for 11K almost for sure) have a police record and will have to pay them back for all the stolen items ( and to "return it" you would have to tell police where it is, and who has it, so they can be arrested for receiving stolen property)
