    Claims process
I am currently going through the claims process and don't hear much from my solicitor, can you give me information on how the process works in scotland. I have also been diagnosed with PTSD and would like to know what effect this will have?

It will help to know exactly what the claim is for. An example being if the neighbors dog tore up your garden, the PTSD will not matter. But if this is a medical claim because the dog attacked you, then it probably will. I don't have an answer but providing us with that info will help you get an answer sooner from someone that does.

The solicitor probably doesn't tell you much because there isn't much happening. You have to be insistant: call the solicitor and ask what's happening. If he or she says that nothing is happening, don't end the conversation until you clearly understand why nothing is happening.
