I am 5 or 6 weeks pregnant and
I am not having any pain or bleeding. I am tired a lot and my breast get more sore everyday. However I have had a miscarriage before so I am very scared and can not stop obsessing over what might happen. So my question to you is... if I feel my uterus getting bigger and my breast are still sore and getting sorer, and Ive had ext-ream moodiness does that mean I'm still pregnant? The last time I was pregnant I didn't even know I had had a miscarriage. My next appointment isn't until almost 2 weeks from now. I don't want to go there thinking I'm pregnant and see no baby like last time. Also last time I was drinking A lot and also using pot and smoking ciggs. This time no ciggs since January no drinking and no pot. How can I tell if my baby is still alive without an ultrasound. What are some good signs?

One good sign of possibly NOT being pregnant is heavy bleeding! Once you have no heavy bleeds then your pretty much on the safe side :) you won't experience too many signs of pregnancy so early on though, you may feel like you've a period coming on and worry your about to miscarry because of the cramping but this is normal...

You might not ever feel sick through-out this pregnancy! I'm 18 weeks pregnant now and my symptoms just come and go as they please, I only ever felt nausious on the 5th, 10th and 15th week of my pregnancy so far, sounds weird I know! And it was always on a Wednesday! I did get a very queezy stomach around the 7th or 8th week that would last all day but that was it.

Every pregnancy is different and believe me, your story matches mine to a tee! This time round I have cut out all bad things and kept myself healthy but I worried like crazy until I was 12 weeks on the dot! I still worry from time to time, I can't say you will be fine, I wish I could but worrying this much (I have read over your other threads) is not going to make a difference, your doing all you can for now and keep at it! Start taking some multi-vitamins if you haven't already and keep up the no smoking and drinking.

I obsessed over the internet too lol try not to read up too much, I found it more positive to read up on the weekly progress of the baby's developments, it puts your mind at ease somewhat, there will always be worrying involved though but stressing won't do you any good, you will be 12 weeks before you know it!

Please let me know how you get on with the doctors and pregnancy by just adding onto this thread! Thank you and I wish you all the luck in the world, your doing all you can right now and that's the best you can do! Rest as much as you can also :)

Don't obsess too much. Right now it's too early for you to feel any movements, it would also be too early to detect a heartbeat, even by ultrasound.

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. You may or may not ever experience sickness. I've had 4 children and my ONLY symptom with all 4 was a missed period.

As long as there is no bright red bleeding accompanied by cramping, all should be well.

Make sure you continue to take care of yourself and if you are not, start taking a prenatal/antenatal vitamin or a multivitamin.
