Fuel pump shut off by low oil pressure?
1989 GMC K1500 5.7 liter TBI engine 4L60C trans
Can anyone confirm if there is a sensor to shut power to the fuel pump if oil pressure is lost. A friend om mine is positive it exists but can't tell me where it is and how it works. Any info would be appreciated. |

We have a fuel oil furnace and it keeps running after the temperature on the thermostat has been reached. It shuts off at the thermostat so that is not a problem, but if I have it on auto, it runs and runs and runs. It was 82 in my house today when I got home! Is this a thermostat problem?
