Other than contacting Harbor Breeze, no. When neon goes bad you usually have to replace the whole thing.

I found the manufacturer of the circular neon light for these ceiling fans, but I've misplaced (lost) it. I'll post it as soon as it surfaces.

Please do, usually the neon tubes themselves are not replaceable. It would be great to know that some are.

We have the same fan and have the same issue. I am told by the people at lowe's that you can contact harbor breeze directly for a replacement part. You can access their info online.
Hope this helps. Our fan only lasted a month before the light went out. :(

We're having the same issue also! We have the same fan and the light stopped working about a month after purchase. We attempted to contact Harbor Breeze directly (as we were also directed by Lowe's to do so). The first time, they sent us some wrong replacement bulbs -- it's a neon light, there are no bulbs! The second time, they told us that they had no clue what we were talking about; that the product didn't exist and that we need a model #. I'll be contacting Harbor Breeze again soon with their needed information.

Upon going to harborbreeze.com it redirects us to Lowes.com, however when searching for the fan, it's difficult to find, but here is the Model# that is needed when talking to a Harbor Breeze representative. This is the description I got off the Lowe's website:

    Harbor BreezeŽ
    52" Neon Light Ceiling Fan

    Item #: 96506 Model: NEO52CH5CLK

Our issue is that we're trying to figure out if we can get a new power box/source for the fan... I don't believe it's not the neon tubing that's bad, it's got to be the power box that's bad. It'll be a shame to have to replace the fan; the neon light was what made it cool to begin with! :(

Anyhow, I hope that this helps, and that all of our lighting issues get resolved.

I have heard from people that have successfully replaced the neon but I'm not aware of where the parts are from. Nevertheless neon tubes do not last indefinitely long. What makes you think it's the box what's bad?

Well, we don't know for sure exactly what went wrong with the light on the fan. We took a guess that it was the box and not the tubing... perhaps we are wrong?

Anyhow, when we called the Harbor Breeze people again, they sent us a fax with how to remove the entire bottom half of light fixture (box and neon tubing) from the fan. They are telling us to send it in for a replacement. I do not believe there is any other way to fix it, so that's their suggestion.

I have the same fan and we've been hoping to find a regular light to replace the neon one. I was like 8 when I talked my dad into buying it for my room and quickly regretted it. Does anyone know if they make regular lights?

Does anyone know if the neon light can be switched out for a regular light kit?? The neon is cute but it sure doesn't put out any light. Instead of replacing the whole ceiling fan, I'd like to keep the clear blades and put a better light on it.

Is it possible to remove the neon light fixture and replace it by regular 4 bulb light kit?
