Access 2 different networks at the same time on win7?
I am having issue. I have a network with 2 connections to the internet. 1 is running a VPN, and the other is just a comcast internet connection. They both have WAN static IP address from comcast. How can I have the computers on my network access both at the same time? I need the VPN for mail, and Internet connection through the same NIC. I have a WIN2008 server network. I need both access at the same time through 1 NIC

Does the server have two NICs or are you connecting through a router/switch?

Is the VPN already established on one internet connection?
Configuration varies by router type, but you should be able to set one interface as the default for all internet traffic, and then only route traffic for the VPN over the other.
Router Type/Model might help us dig up some configuration ideas.

Comcast = the ISP? Have they created the VPN for you on their equipment? I know of ISPs in my area that provide similar services.

We have a CIsco 1800 handling our VPN through the comcast box. I have STATIC Ip's assigned from Comcast. One for internet traffic, one for the VPN. I think I need a load balancing router

Forgive me if I'm getting a little repetitive, just trying to get a good idea of your setup.
    You have two cabel modems.
    Both have static IPs.
The Cisco 1800 is connected to both.
You want to use one interface for strictly VPN traffic, the other for internet traffic.
The VPN is already set up on one interface.

    It sits as follows...
1 VPN connection on the Cisco device
    1 Comcast connection via Router
I want my computers to access the VPN and the internet connections at 1 time
We use lotus notes for email and that server is at another location which is what the VPN is for

What you have should be capable of accomplishing your goal(s). If you have enough bandwidth with your current comcast connection, you should be able to pass VPN and internet traffic over the same interface/internet connection. The router config should be able to send both types of traffic to the same interface. We run a similar setup with a remote office using a single internet connection on a Sonicwall firewall. The VPN connects them to the main office for email and limited file access and all other internet traffic is routed out of their internet connection.
