    Please help verify this trig identity...
    (cotx-tanx)/(cosx+sinx) = (cosx-sinx)/(sinxcosx)

    First, make the substitution cot(x) = cos(x)/sin(x) and tan(x) = sin(x)/cos(x). This gives you



    Now cross-multiply, and you're essentially done.
