How do I tell my friend she needs to wax?
I have this great friend who is mature, loyal, kind of a naturalist, and really academically smart, and she really wants a boyfriend. I think she would be a great catch for a guy accept for one thing... she has lots of hair on her forehead and upper lip that could use some bleaching/waxing, and a bit of a unibrow that needs some waxing. I think everything else she has is naturally pretty, even without makeup. How can I tell her about it? She has never brought it up when I get ready with her to go out to places, but I feel like if I bring it up it would be a touchy subject and I do not want to upset her. I feel like if she wants boys to look at her then she should maybe touch up her face a bit. How do i tell her?

If your friend and you are really close then maybe you could invite her over for a sleepover I don't know your age but me and my older sister are both teens and are friends still spend the night with us. Anyway then just say y don't we do a makeover? If you can do her eyes and stuff. Maybe when she sees the did she will do it herself. If that don't work then just sit her down and tell her the truth something like this. You're my best friend and I'm telling this cause if I love you and would want you to tell me. I think you are beautiful. But itay help if you do you eyebrow or wax. Then maybe to keep her from filling bad tell her about having to do your eyebrow or face (if you wax don't lie if you don't) best of luck. I'm shore your friends beautiful on the out side but true beauty comes from with inn.

How would you feel if somebody told you you need to wax, bleach or something else? What words would you want that person to use when speaking to you?

I had a friend who had a unibrow and dark hair on her lip in high school. I was the one who brought it to her attention and we are still friends. To my knowledge it never hurt her feelings.

I brought it up very tenderly, by complimenting her eyes and saying "you know what would look cool is if we shaped your eyebrows, I bet it would just make your eyes pop!" I asked her if she'd go with me to get my brows waxed, and she should get hers waxed with me ("we'll go together!"). I told her I was going to get my lip waxed because I didn't like the peach fuzz, and so she got hers waxed too.

It's not guaranteed that she'll mimic what you're doing, but it worked for my friend. She was so impressed with the way waxing looked that she kept it up ever since!

OK, when I was younger, girls who shaved above their knees were considered "sluts". I risked it and shaved my thighs, too. Then it was pretty obvious when higher cut swimsuits and lingerie came in style that you had to do a little more shaving than that. Now it seems a lot of women are going to...
