I met this boy at my friend's party. We talked, it seemed like we had a connection. Then when he left, my friend told me that he thought I was pretty cute. I was so excited. But then him and I are so different. So I let it go. Then few days later, my friend told me that he liked me and that wanted her to talk to me for him. And we've kind of talked on myspace because we don't have any classes together at school and barely see each other. Then a month later, I was talking to that friend and I asked her if he still liked me. And she replied by saying that who cares, he's just a boy, and that I can do better. And I asked her is this your way of telling me that he doesn't like me? And she said sure.

But the thing is I can't stop thinking about him. And I've joined band just because of him. What can I do?

Get older, you don't even know this guy so you are definitely not in love. You just have a fantasy crush on him. Think about other stuff and realize that this guy is probably not as great as you think. A myspace page does not show who someone really is. This shall pass, you'll be fine!
