OK so I just pierced my lip yestarday and I was using a stud for ears, because my dad actually doesn't know (please don't tell me this was stupid I know it was) anyway now there's a small areaa of skin on the outside around the hole. And the colour of the skin? Is BLACK that's right.. BLACCK, and now I'm actually really scared I don't know what to do, I've cleaned it and everything and I've also come to this idea of what's wrong... is it related to the earing? It was kind of steel I think not sure. HELP ASAP PLEASSEEEE

I don't want to be mean but that's so stupid to get a piercing.. srsly.. I know your scared and all but you just shuldnt have got it in the first place.! That's dusgusting! U don't know how it will result. I think people who get peircings just wann be cool and I'm syaing this is just KARMA to you! Srsly you shuldnt have gotten it
But anyway... dont freak... its normal just your lips getting used to it. Good luck :/

It may be related to the earing, usually when a piercer pierces someone they use titanium jewellery because there are only a small amount of people who are allergic to that. Sometimes when I wear fake earrings like from claires accessories, the hole will go black or green because it's the metal reacting with your skin, its nothing to worry about you just have to get a labret stud from a piercer and then place that in the hole. Also clean your piercing with saline solution or a piercing cleaning solution you get from a piercing shop and then alcohol-free mouthwash. Good luck.
