Very few people say that I'm handsome, actually, I'm just not ugly. I'm one of the best student in my class, I treat people nice, equally. I respect them. However, people do not like me. My classmates, even several teachers, hate me. I help them when I can, but they don't help me if I ask. They avoid me, ignore me, lie to me and talk bad things behind my back. I feel sad, no one cares. Although I just want to love and to be loved. I haven't had a girl friend. I used to love when I was small, but now it seems that I do not love any girl and they don't love me either. They (or most of them) love and support bad guys who ALWAYS say and do dirty things.I do not want to complain. When I was in high school, I heard my friend said that this girl loved me. I met her again recently, and I asked her out, as a friend. On the second date, she suddenly said that she only think about me as a regular friend. I thought: What? I only want to have fun (not that), I haven't said I like you yet. Since then, I keep a distance. I don't want to flirt, and actually I don't know how to because I think when you love someone, it's unnecessary to flirt, right? Am I crazy? My younger brother died, he hadn't been borned. My mother, a good woman, died a few years ago. My father, a good man, just got marriage. So what the heck should I do now? Don't tell me to try because I'm trying, I just don't know if I'm going the right direction.

In regards to your issues.

Do you feel confident and comfortable in yourself? If you say yes, then to hell with those who judge you. They're obviously not worthy of your time. It's just that simple. I certainly don't go out of my way to prove myself to people who'd prefer to judge me before they knew me.

Perhaps you need to find a group that is involved in a hobby or interest that you have and meet people with similar interests and tastes.

When you find that girl that you'like'.. you will flirt. I guess people have their own variations of flirting, but it might be in jovial banter, it might be in showing off something that you do well, it could be being the clown, it could be juggling ponies standing on a clown...

It will come naturally. I wouldn't worry about that. When we find someone we're attracted too, it just happens. Me.. I'm the juggling pony act.. it's a winning act :)

Don't let a few bad experience stop you from seeking out the friendship of others. If they don't like you, forget 'em. That simple, but just keep being a good guy and be patient, and build a life that you enjoy through activities you enjoy doing, and be happy with yourself, and your life, and you will make friends and have fun.

You are in a heck of a rut, but you will get out of it. Stay positive, even when others are not. Now find that female friend and have some fun, as friends, and don't look for love and romance, that happens when you least expect it.

This is coming from a girls view! I had the same problems also with guys, and I thought I would never find love and all that jazz! & yes I know you don't want to be told not to keep trying, but that is what I did! And I lost the one I loved for a year, and it was very painful, just keep trying and it will work out.
