I've been taking birth control for about a month and two weeks... Lost them... Then I started taking them again two weeks later... I've took a whole weeks worth of them already do you think that they are in my system now?

They are in your system, and while many pills will state that you are protected after a week, the general recommendation is that it is best to wait until you have gone through an entire pack before using them alone as birth control.

Also, realize that even with the pill you can still get pregnant. It's not 100%. It's always best to use at least 2 forms of birth control, just for added protection.

Nothing is 100%. There are women on this site that used 3 different forms of birth control and still became pregnant. But you do lower the odds considerably if you use at least 2 forms.
