Dorothy Vinson lived in our Mobile Home Park. She died leaving a will which put her only son Victor as her only inheriter. He does not want the home and wants to give it to us as Park owners. How can he prove that he inherited the home?

First off you will need all documentation involved. Also they may be responsible for any taxes that go with the "gift".

You will need a certified copy of the death certificate and a copy of the will.

Then your also going to need to record the deed or title. From and to and reasoning behind it. Like gift or donation.

It's a little odd that in the title, you are speaking as the son, and then you are speaking as the park owner. And you need to prove there was a will? If he lost it, he needs to find the lawyer who handled it, or the probate court, if it went through probate. And although he will be free of inheritance tax, he won't be free of tax if he gives it away, so you need to be prepared to pay something. It wouldn't be fair to let the IRS surprise him at the end of the year.
