I need to buy a dishwasher. Any recommendations for a good efficient reasonably priced model?

Another consideration is durability and reparability. Browse through this thread and the problems people are having. I used to answer many questions here, but have been leaving them for others lately. One thing I have noticed is the ones with digital controls are a big problem. They decide to start flashing a trouble code and they are very difficult to fix. In the long term, you may be better off with fewer features you will seldom use, and simpler controls.

Thanks for the response. I will be aware now of the problem with digital controls. I'm basically looking for a simple reliable model.
