My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half, and I feel that we have a very strong bond. We both love each other very much, and speak about marriage and the future often.

Problem is our sex life... This is where we are at standstill. Sex started slowly and was never really full of passion. He says that I was/am awkward about my body, and he feels like I am usually taken over by my insecurities. And this is probably true... And now he says that he is at a loss for how to even get things started!

How do we fix our sex life? He is my best friend and I couldn't imagine my life without him!
Any suggestion?

I also want to add that we have really communicated about this. Before it would be arguments, because I would always bring it up, and he would feel bad. I think I put a lot of pressure on our relationship regarding sex. But now we can both talk about it, but just have no idea how to get things moving again...
