Why did you lie? Why didn't you fight this and make them prove it was your dog?

Yes, you lied to a postmaster about your dog not being there, At this point just move your mail box to the street, you have no chance of winning, since your lie has taken away any chance of being believed in court now

I have been in this rental home for 1 year the mailman used to deliver mail and sees my dog I have even gone out side and we both talked about his dog which is a chiwawa and mine and he even said he knows my dog doesn't do anything he never once said keep your dog inside or give me a warning verbal or written until 2 days ago when I got a letter saying move your box to curb they never mentioned dog bit mailman. I went to postal office and hand delivered note saying that dog will no longer be there and I even gave them the new address and postal number of where dog is going to be. What lie did I tell I am looking for a defense for my dog and myself not people saying oh you lied. Where is mail man report that he was bitten why was my dog not peppered sprayed by mail man? If he was bitten or attacked mailmen are to defend themselves by pepper spraying the dog why didn't he call the dog catcher and haul my dog away why didn't the postal service ask for rabie shot record. When they sent me the letter 2 days ago when incident happened on 2/18/11. People why do you say I lied in what?

Excuse me, maybe I misinterpreted. You said; "postal manager says i need to write letter saying dog will no longer be there which i did ..." You did not make it clear that you had actually moved the dog to some other place. If that is the case, then I apologize, but it certainly sounded like you were just telling the postmaster what he wanted to hear.

If, there was no incident of attack and you have, moved your dog, then appeal to the district postmaster. Or pay for a PO box.
