    Can I get both type herpes at the same time
    My doctor told me over the phone that I had both types... but I was checked like a few months before and didn't have nothing

    You can have oral herpes and genital herpes at the same time. They just activate at different times. The lab where your test was done can tell you which one you have. It has to be l or 2. Kind of hard to explain. Did your doctor do a proper lab test ?

    They told me I have both.. but what I'm concerned about is when was I able get both in a short period... I been with this dude that I contracted it from for 3 month and before that I was checked and was just fine... then me and this dude NEVER had unprotected sex... so could I have gotten both from a kiss and oral sex

    Yes was all oral sex with protection also.
    But then a condom is not 100 percent, either
    Did you have sex when he had a outbreak also

    We used a condom every time, but we did have unprotected oral sex... so could I have gotten both them 2 months?
