After installing my ceiling fan they wall switch does not work anymore?
The fan and light work fine when I pull the chains.the ceiling wiring has 2 black wire's 1 red wire 2 copper and 1 green following the instrutions I connected the blue and back wire from the fan to the 2 black wires coming out of the ceiling, I connected the white wire from the fan to the 2 white wires coming out of the ceiling to the white wire from the fan.the green wire I connected to the copper ones.I have no idea what to do with the red wire. My wall swith use to activate my old ceiling fan but it won't activate the new one oh and I also check the wall swith and thaught replace that might work but all I did was mess up the wiring there.

    At the ceiling box.
Connect the two bare copper wires together with the green from the fan.
Connect the two white wires together with the white from the fan.
Connect the two black wires together with the black from the fan.
Connect the blue wire to the red wire.

    At the wall switch.
Connect all the white wires together.
Connect all the blacks together with a wire nut and add a pigtail (a short piece of black wire). Connect the black pigtail to the switch.
Connect the red wire to the switch.
Connect all bare wires together and connect them to the switch if there is a green ground screw on the switch. If the switch box is metal also connect the bare wires to the box.

The pull chain will control the fan. The switch will control the light.
