    Mirena removal
I had my Mirena removed a year ago and the doctor said according to blood tests that I am in menopause. I have had my period 3 times in the last 45 days and maybe 3-4 times over the past year. If according to the blood tests I'm menopaused, why am I still getting my period ? A GP told me to consult my Gyno aince it was not normal and it could be cancer !

I think what the GP means is it could be anything, from the normal irregularities of premenopause (menopause is rarely something that happens quickly; it can be years) to cancer, and a variety of things in between, and said that just because you should be seeing your GYN.
Our hormones are pesky critters, you know. There is no set of guidelines for what they will do from woman to woman, and from month to month.

Check with your doctor asap. You don't want to risk gambling with cancer.
