Dryer heats up but drum doesn't turn
I have a Maytag Performa dryer that is 5 yrs old. A couple weeks ago it started making a horrible screeching sound when I turn it on and it comes and goes throughout the cycle. The dryer works just fine except for the noise which is so loud, you can hear it outside the house. Trying to save money...
I have a maytag dryer and it is making a lot of noise. It does dry my clothes but is very loud. What could it be?
What would cause this is there a fix or way to find proplem?
