    What are the little bumps around the nipple
    We would like to know what are the little bunps on the aroela that is around the nipple. And what is their purpose?

    I was trolling the boarsd and noticed this wasn't answered. I did not know the answer (I am a guy) but it can easily be googled.

    If you worry about those 'funny bumps' on the areola, those are supposed to be there; they are called Montgomery glands or areolar skin glands. Their function is partially unknown, but scientists suppose they are there to lubricate the nipple/areola area.
