    Nipple Piercing?
I'm thinking about getting my nipple pierced and have done for several years, however the only thing stopping me is the fear of the pain. I know the pain will only be for a few seconds but I have a psychological problem with pain which I won't go into now.

I just wanted to know if anyone knew whether it is possible for a piercer to use the numbing spray before the piercing? I had the numbing spray when I had my navel pierced and I didn't feel a thing. Would they be able to use the spray on the nipple?

I don't appreciate any negative comments, if you don't like the piercing or think it's trashy that's your opinion which I respect. I just ask you too to respect me and my opinion regarding this matter and not post hurtful comments.

    Thank you :)

Ps: I live in the uk

Umm, the pain is NOT only for a few seconds. The actual pinching from the needle is only for a few seconds. However, the pain afterwards lasts quite some time. It takes 6 months to a full year for your nipples to FULLY heal (this is not saying it will hurt this long, but to be healed FULLY all the way through it can take this long)
Mine took quite a long time to heal, and were VERY sore for a while. (Thank goodnes we as woman wear bra's because even just a shirt rubbing against my nipple was rediculous) I am not saying this to deter you. I got mine done and have had them for years. It hurt, but to me was well worth the pain.

I agree, the pain does not only last for a second. I got them pierced... which hurt like hell... and I have my navel, tragus, and tongue does as well, and this by far was the most painful. The pain was pretty bad that night too. I got a little sick that night from it. The next day, however, it didn't hurt that bad. Every time my bra would brush against my nipples I got a very erotic sensation. Healing for me did NOT take a year... or even 6 months... mine were healed in 6 weeks... at least that is when I changed out the rings for barbells. I have had them now for three months and they really didn't hurt after that first day. I say just do it. Pain is a mental state. Just think about something that hurts you emotionally more than anything... the needle will actually be a relief... taking your mind off the emotional pain. Hopes this helps! Just get them done! You'll love them.

Nipple piercing concern [ 3 Answers ]

I got my nipples done yesterday. As I looked today I am not really feeling the look. I would like to take them out, will they my nipples look normal if I take them out, or will they be deformed. I don't want to take them out if they are going to look nasty after removing them.
