    I moved out of the house
    Can a landlord ask for damages on a house that was forclosed on he no longer has the house and I moved out.

    Yes, if it was damaged when he owned it. The sale/foreclosure is meaningless in this case. The damage deposit was held to pay for damages; if there were damages, he can collect - either through the deposit or Small Claims Court.
