Addig a new electrical outlet to the middle switch in a box with three switches.
Thank you in advance for any help you are able to give me.
I am attempting to add an outlet. I want it to be controlled by an existing switch which is in a box as a group of three. The middle switch controlled the ceiling fan light. I connected two wire romex cable to the new outlet. Then I bundled the white wire to the existing box white wire bunble. The black wire to the switch I want to control the new outlet. I plugged a light into the new outlet and it worked but the switch does not turn it off and on.
In the picture I have attached I hope you can see the new cable white and black wires and what I attached them to. Thanks, Ric

If all my notes are correct, move the new black wire which goes to the new outlet, to the screw by the red wire.
The new outlet and the "some other fixture" will be controlled by the switch .
