    1099r
    I got a 1099r after I filled in 2009,there were no taxes taken out,can I just add the 2,000$ gross distribution to my 2010 1040 or is there a form I need to add this income Thanks

    If you received a 1099R for tax year 2009 after you filed your 2009 tax return, you must file an amended return for 2009. The form is 1040-X; here is more detailed info on how to complete it: Tax Topics - Topic 308 Amended Returns
