We need an appraiser for a timeshare...
I have a non-profit organization and a individual has expressed an interest in giving us the timeshare completely. We are planning on keeping the timeshare for a few years to generate annual donations but in order for the donor to get their tax deduction, they need a qualified appraiser who will fill out and sign the necessary tax forms.

I have asked adimistrators to remove your personal information. It is an international site, and you don't really want this information to show up over half the world. It would invite some unsavoury characters.

I suggest you advertise for an appraisor, or check your local directory.

I have removed the personal info.

What or which value do you want, what they paid, what they are advertised at by the time share companies,

The truth is, they are worth nothing, most can not be given away, Many non profits, make people pay them to take them, ( yes, really) It is on shows like Clark Howard all the time.

These people should be happy and glad just to get out from the annual dues, and have someone just take them.

but they are not real estate, and the such, there is no real "expert" except the time share companies that sale them.

Agreed! Timeshares are the biggest white elephants on the face of this earth. Any appraisal that shows they are worth any significant amount of money would probably be challenged by the IRS.
