I pay child support weekly even though i have my son 6 and 7 days a week... all day and night... almost every single week. The maybe one day a week my son goes 2 his mom's house he cries and screams horribly to stay with me and my fiancÉe, yet when he goes to his mawmaw's(her mother's), who he sees the same amount of time if not less he has never cried. He even calls my fiancÉe mama. We have to provide her a carseat, a sippy cup, and pull ups every time she gets him even though she works 2 jobs. She has had 3 dhr/dfacs cases on her involving my son, one in which i called on her b/c my son came home with 5 or 6 large badly bruised bite marks all over his body from another child. She gets foodstamps, child support, and claims my son on her taxes at the end of the year even though he practically lives with me. She has a baby girl by another man who she's not with anymore as well who also keeps her daughter 6 and 7 days a week which she also gets child support, foodstamps, and claims on taxes as well. We were not ever married, but we have always lived in the same city and state. Do you think its possible i could obtain full custody of my son?

Who has custody now though the courts ?

But yes, it is very possible, just document and have proof that the child lives with you, But the other parent will still get visits, Full custody does not mean the other parent can't visit. The other parent will get visits, if there is enough evidence they may make it supervised, or require her to do a parenting class or plan first. But expect over night visits allowed also.

His mom has custody but since i pay child support i am suppose to get him every weekend. I signed the birth certificate and had a dna test done and everything to prove he is mine.
