    Tub diverter
Help, I have tried changing the tub diverter in order to stop water flowing into the tub while the shower is on. Every time I turned the water on the gasket in the diverter jammed and the same problem resulted e.g. water running from the shower head while tub faucet was on and weak shower flow with stream from faucet when shower was on. Any advice out there? I'm sick of standing in water above my ankles while showering with weak water flow.

Sounds like the screen or flow restrictor in the shower head might be plugged.

If you are standing ankle deep in water while showering I would start by unstopping the tub drain. Then I would replace the diverter valve of the tub faucet.

So I removed our old Tub/Shower Diverter because more water would still leak out of the faucet instead of coming out of the shower head. Lo and behold, when I removed it, I found the copper pipe wasn't threaded at the end but the replacement one I bought at Home Depot requires it. Since I'm...
