How do you remove the handle on a Price Pfister shower?
I have a leaking Price Pfister shower valve but cannot remove the handle to get to the valve. It has a single round handle with what appears to be a round cover or cap. I attempted to pry off the cover in the center but am afraid to damage it. I looked on the underside of the knob to look for a allen head set screw but there are none. Any idea on how to take this off?

I looked for a Price Pfister replacement to get a model number but can't find anything close. I believe they do not make this model any longer.

The cap should come off easily with a thin blade such as a kitchen knife or edge of a jackknife.

YUP! Here's a picture of a similar setup... ;) As Joypulv said, pry up and off... sometimes I use a utility knife as the blade edge is extremely thin and gets under the rim of the cap with little/no damage!

    Good luck!

My daughter had been using my shower and one day I came home and found the handle on the spout had come out and there was a piece of plastic with a small rubber gasket on it. I have a 3 handle system in our tub/shower combo. The problem is that when running bath water, the shower head will leak water. But the tub faucet does not leak water when the shower is running. I have replaced the diverter valve and it does not correct the problem. Both the hot and the cold...

Price Pfister Single-handle kitchen faucet [ 2 Answers ]

I have the faucet and DO NOT use the sprayer. The installer just tied it beneath the sink and I put a hand soap dispenser in the sprayer hole. There is NO WATER PRESSURE. It just dribbles infuriatingly. I found that the little logo button comes off the main chute of the faucet but I don't know...

I purchased a price pfister shower kit and it did not have an installation manual. They are closed today and their website does not have manuals on it. I just need to know how to install the valve. Can some one direct me to a site that will give me that info?
