    Transmission trouble
    I have a 1990 chrysler mvp 3L v6 with transmission problems.sometimes it will go into to gear and be OK then other times it won't and I have to turn the car off and start it again for it to go into gear.so I was thinking that it could be the trans filter is clogged,but not sure.so if anybody can help please do. THANKS

    Check for vacume leaks first if that's not the problems then drop the transmission pan and check for any metal shavings or debris if so then do a fluid&filter change

    Did you do the change yourself? If so did you notice any metal shavings? Could be one the valves in the trans is sticking or you have a malfunctioning sensor please let me know
