    04 silverado won't start / turn over
    Full power to the truck . Brand new battery cable connetions are good /not corroded. Turn the ignition on and hear a quiet click but nothing happens , It does not do it all the time and once I leave it for a while it will fire up. Seems to do it when its cold outside and the truck is cold.

    I guess what I am asking is if any one else has had this problem? Just to shorten any troubleshooting As of right now I am lead to believe its an ignition control module or starter.

    If the starter motor consistently cranks, then move on to the ICM. If not, then I would solve that problem first.

Engine ran until I shut it off. When I went to restart 20 minutes later it started for a couple of seconds then died. When you turn the key you can here the fuel pump start working. Turns over but won't stay running. Tapped on the fuel tank, but did not make a difference.
