How long for credit score to go up
I have 3 credit cards, one I have had for over 2 years that I have not used in a while, one that is maxed out at a 700 $ limit and another one that is conjoined to me under my soon to be wife's name that has a 700$ limit with 200$ over in fees. This has dropped my credit score by 200 points in the last 4 months. We are trying to buy a house in the next few months but my credit score is at 520 and needs to be at 620 before I can start talking to someone. The deal is that we can pay all of the debt in a week but I'm just not sure if I can get it up 100 points in 2 to 4 month span. I'm 22yo. Any advise from anyone would be great and ask questions if you have them. Thanks.

Your first dilema is that your not using the card.as a credit card compnay told me,keeping a crdit card in your wallet does not help at all,if you don't use it,here's my sugestion. Use the card and pay it off each month without being late,it does take time to build a score, but my sugestion if your concerned with a credit score. Get involved with www.truecredit.com this will show any inacurancy on your report and also will alert you if any changes are made to your account. It cost 16.00 a month but is well worth it,I'm a member of it,and it has helped me out very much so. And you got to get rid of them fees, see if they can reduce them, maybe contact them and see if they will reduce the fees.. hope all goes well..
