Well its going to be kind of hard right now to do much with credit considering the economy is craptacular... most people that had a good score I hear have a bad score now. Also, never go online and check your credit score, that will only lower it.. everytime you check it, it actually lowers it. When you check it, it makes it appear there is something wrong, so that is why you check it.. at least that is how these companys think. Use your credit card and only pay off half of it every month, and pay the second half off during the next bill, that way the interest is actually used, if you just pay it all off every month that won't build credit score I hear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong I've been wondering myself.

If you call or go on-line with credit cards you already have, you may be able to increase your credit card limit. I got my score from 600's to 700's by adding something like 10k to the amount of credit that I [I]could[I] use, but didn't.

You make sure you don't have your credit cards at too high a level. If you have a 10,000 limit, don't have over 3000 charged to them.

You borrow and be sure to pay back on time.
