Hampton Bay Altura Fan with remote
Installed the fan today. It is a Hampton Bay Altura with remote. Everything seemed to be working fine but after starting the fan, it stopped by itself. It will reverse, but both directions it seems to stop by itself after only a few seconds of running, no matter which speed it is set at. It does start up, but then stops.

New Altura ceiling fan does not reverse with remote. No pull chains since it is 20ft high ceiling. Changed settings on housing and remote but still doesn't reverse. Any ideas:confused:
I just purchased a hampton bay 68" altura ceiling fan Even on high speed it turns slowly. There is a difference between speeds 1 , 2 and 3 but not much. High would be like between 1 and 2 speeds and of 50 " fan.
The installation manual was missing from the box.
Hampton Bay Altura 68" Ceiling Fan Model 68068 1. What is the maximum ceiling slope for this fan? 2. Are there extension poles available for this fan? We need a minimum of 3 feet.
New HB Altura fan installed w/ remote. All switches on, press fan speeds get slight movement then nothing. Humms when "hi" is pressed, get a click when reverse is pressed... Any insights? Thanks all in advance
